President Of The Australia First Party Wins 1367 Votes In Council Poll

The President of the Australia First Party, Diane Teasdale, polled 1367 votes in her bid for Council office in Shepparton on November 25. This represented over 4% of the electorate, making her in tenth place amongst eighteen candiates for seven positions.

Diane waged a grassroots campaign, positioning herself nicely as a candidate for other purposes.

The revival of a nationalist electoral base can really only begin - at a local level. This fact was demonstrated yet again.
